Q - Do all of the rooms have
a private Bathroom?
A - Yes all of the Guest Rooms contain
a private en-suite bathroom
Q - Is the Residenza Belli in the
city centre?
A - Yes, we are located in the Trastevere
district of Rome which is the most popular area in Rome for
nightlife - loads of bars, eateries and cinemas. The main
attractions like St. Peter's and Piazza Navona are within
20 minutes walking.
Q - How do we reach the Residenza
Belli from Termini Train Station?
A - Yes all the Belli Residence
is 25 minutes from Termini - take bus no. 75 from directly
in front of the station. Alternatively take bus no.64 or 40
(they are more frequent than the 75) to Largo Argentina and
take Tram no.8 - get off at the Stop "Via E Morosini"
and take the road by the same Name (on right hand side) take
second right i.e. Via Mameli.... If you have a car it takes
15 minutes from Termini.
Q - How do we reach the Residenza
Belli from Ciampino Airport?
A - We suggest you take the Ryan
Air and Easjet Bus "Terravision" which leaves every
half hour and drops you off at Termini Train Station. It costs
8 Euro a single or 13.50 Return - you can book online at www.terravision.it
or simply buy your ticket on the plane or at airport. The
journey time from Ciampino to Termini is 30 minutes.
Q - How do we reach the Residenza
Belli from Fiumicino Airport (also known as Leonardo da Vinci)
NB Many international flights from the USA, Canada, Japan,
South America and Austrailia arrive at Leonardo Da Vinci.
A - From Fiumicino Airport we suggest
you take the "Orari metropolitano FM1" and get off
at Stazione Trastevere (trains are very frequent and the journey
time 30 minutes - see www.trenitalia.com for more information),
from here you can take the Tram number 8 in the direction
of Largo Argentina, the tram follows Viale Trastevere. Get
off at the stop Via E Morosini (ask the Driver), the Tram
journey should only take about 8 minutes. Alternatively, you
can take the "Leonardo Express" train to Termini
and from there take the bus number 75 directly to the Residenza
Belli (this will take longer than the other way)
Q -Is there a curfew?
A - No we do not have any curfew,
guests may come and go as they please.
Q - How do I reserve a Room at your
Pensione in Trastevere?
A - Please use the online booking
system to reserve your room, we guarantee you our best rates
and up to the minute availability. NB No payment is made when
you make your reservation... we only require your credit card
details in order to guarantee the reservation, payment will
be made in person upon departure or arrival.
Q - Is there a lift / Elevator?
A - No, we are on the ground floor
so we don't need one!
Q - Is there parking?
A - We do not have our own private
parking spaces but there are spaces in the surrounding streets
if you can find one! Our concierge Cristiano will be happy
to give you some tips on parking in Rome
Q - is breakfast included in the
room rate?
A - yes, a basic Italian Continental
Breakfast is included in the room rate, all guests are issued
with a voucher which can be presented in the bar next door.
Q - What does "Belli"
and "Trastevere" mean?
A - Belli is a surname in Italian
and also means the adjective "beautiful" in the
plural sense i.e. i fiori belli = the beautiful flowers. Trastevere
is an Italian word which has been coined from two words "attraversare"
i.e. to cross and "tevere" which means the Tiber
i.e. the name of Rome's river so, Trastevere literally translated
means across the River Tiber... OK? Cristiano is available
for impromptu Italian Lessons (NB they are not free!!!!)
Q - Is there Internet
A - There is an internet connection
which you can use if you have a laptop. If not there are many
Internet Cafes nearby with good rates (there are many foreign
students living in Trastevere)
Q - Do you supply Maps
A - Yes, we supply all guests with
a Map of the City
Q - How far is St. Peter's, Piazza
Navona and the other attractions?
A - All of the major attractions
are within walking distance, please see the location page
for more detailed information.
Q - Is there Air Conditioning and
Central Heating?
A - Yes, all of the rooms at the
Residenza Belli Rome have A/C and Central Heating

is widely regarded as the best in Rome with a plehora of Eateries,

the best of Roman nightlife
